Today (28 May 2025), Mr. Pichai Naripthaphan, Minister of Commerce, chaired the meeting to provide operational policies to the directors of 58 international trade promotion offices worldwide and the Permanent Representatives of Thailand to the World Trade Organization and the World Intellectual Property Organization, Ambassadors (Commercial Affairs), and provincial commercial officers nationwide, totaling more than 200 participants, along with the private sector, to promote exports during the remaining months of this year. He said that this meeting was to gather the teams of the Ministry of Commerce, both central, foreign, and regional, to drive government policies, especially in determining the guidelines for promoting exports in the second half of the year amidst the challenges of the US reciprocal tariffs and the volatile global economic situation.
